Upcoming News from “InfoFlight Development Team”

We are thrilled to announce the alpha release of our long awaited gem; “InfoFlight Desktop Agent” (a.k.a “Project Rebel”). Once we’ve initiated InfoFlight’s development idea, most of our friends (!) came up with questions such as “What’s your problem? Why are you trying to complicate your lives?”… Admitting that some of them were quite logical , we’ve replied all of them with the same answer: “We do like to create a value.”

From day one, as a team, we’ve never lost our belief in that value. That’s how we could have managed to accomplish an unforgettable InfoFlight experience, Turkey’s first digital asset management web application.  With the release of InfoFlight’s v.1.0.2 update on November 22, 2010 InfoFlight will be reaching a competitive position regarding its very well known and well-established global competitors being on market since 5 or more years.

Starting from the end of September 2010, we’ve conducted many sales meetings and collected plenty of positive and encouraing feedback on InfoFlight’s Enterprise Packages. Radikal, a Turkish newspaper, interviewed our founders about InfoFlight’s story and future plans. Once the story is unleashed, plenty of congratulations originated; not only from our friends, but also from people overseas. That honoured us a lot!

We’ve believed that creating a value is not a destination, but a journey. That requires and will always require “continuos improvement”. In order to fulfill that imperative need, we developed “Project Rebel” and are exteremely glad to share its Alpha Release today.

The alpha release includes just a few of the features planned to be in the final package. You can search, preview and share your items and download them to your computer as well. Also “I.D.A.” periodically notifies you of what’s happening on your workspace via the activities tab and the system tray icon. Unfortunately the release is Windows only for the time being because of some minor glitches affecting the user experience on Mac OSX. But we are constantly working towards solving these minor problems.
